With a heartfelt commitment to patient-centered care, Melinda earned her Doctorate Degree from Pacific College of Health Sciences and her Master’s Degree from New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS University, graduating Summa Cum Laude from both prestigious institutions. Throughout her five years of training, Melinda honed her skills through clinical internships at Massachusetts General Hospital and the US Department of Veterans Affairs.

Driven by her desire to merge the best of Eastern and Western medicine, Melinda brings a unique perspective to her practice. Her journey into acupuncture was inspired by a decade-long career training doctors in medical devices and robotic surgical technology, instilling in her a deep appreciation for comprehensive, integrative care.

Known affectionately as Dr. Melin to her patients, Melinda’s approach is characterized by personalized attention and a commitment to whole-person wellness. She holds specialized certifications in Orthopedic Acupuncture and Oncology Acupuncture from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC, further enhancing her expertise.

In both private practice and clinical practice within a hospital-based setting, Melinda addresses a wide range of conditions, from pain management and digestive health to stress relief and women’s wellness. She is proud to be part of the Integrative Therapies Department at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, where she provides care to patients at the Mass General Cancer Center.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Melinda finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid surfer and certified yoga teacher with over two decades of practice, she embraces an active lifestyle centered around the beauty of New Hampshire’s Seacoast. Melinda’s dedication to her community and her commitment to excellence were recognized when she received the Best of the 603 Silver Award for Acupuncture in 2023. In 2024, she fulfilled her dream of opening Solstice Acupuncture & Wellness in her hometown of Hampton, NH, bringing her passion for holistic healing to her beloved community.
